You can keep your existing service business website and add a clear link to a hosted enquiry page. The link takes customers to the form; your website still explains your services, coverage and business.
For Enquiry Fox, this is a normal website link to your branded page. The setup below does not depend on an embedded form, a website plugin or a connection to your content-management system.
Choose what the button should promise
Use a label that matches the next step: “Send an enquiry” or “Tell us about the job” makes a request clear. If you use “Request a quote”, explain nearby that you will review the details and contact the customer before agreeing work.
Keep the supporting sentence specific: “Describe the work and choose how you would like us to contact you. Photos are optional.” Avoid a booking label unless the destination actually lets a customer confirm an appointment.
Put the link where a customer has enough context
Start with the service page that describes the work and your contact page. Add the link using your existing website editor or ask the person maintaining the site to update that button’s destination.
- Service page: place the link after explaining what you offer and the areas you cover.
- Contact page: explain what the enquiry form is for and retain your direct business contact route.
- Navigation: use a short, consistent label if enquiries are a primary action.
- Existing buttons: check that older “Get in touch” links still lead to the destination you intend.
Worked example: a decorator keeps its current site
Fictional example: a decorating business already has pages showing interior work. The owner adds “Tell us about your decorating job” after the service description and links it to the business’s active enquiry page.
The website still explains the work offered. The customer follows the link, describes the rooms and requested timing, and sends contact details. The owner reviews the saved enquiry and makes the next contact. No website rebuild or automatic quotation is part of this example.
Check the complete path before announcing it
First use the Enquiry Fox demo with fictional information to understand the form and example inbox. A branded preview is also available, but previewing does not activate intake or reserve your business link.
For your real page, complete the account, business and subscription steps and confirm the dashboard says the page is ready to share. Open the exact link from your website on a phone, check the business name and contact route, and confirm the destination is your live business page rather than a preview or demo. A live test submission uses the normal enquiry allowance.
Keep the change proportionate to the problem
Enquiry Fox provides the hosted form, a private inbox, email alerts and follow-up statuses. You choose which existing optional fields to enable, including photos. Your business continues handling the conversation, quotations and arrangements. It does not require customers to create an account or install an app.
If your current website form already delivers clear requests into a workflow you use consistently, replacement may be unnecessary. If you want a saved request and visible follow-up status, try the demo below, preview your branding and review pricing. Start with the smallest website change that lets customers reach the right form.
